Design by Rachael Long

Where visual storytelling meets quiet confidence — crafted with intention, emotion, and a deep respect for the details.

Why “LONG”?

Every system begins with a point. A clear decision about where to start and what matters most.

In my work, that point is structure. Before color. Before typography. Before visual style. There has to be hierarchy. Alignment. A foundation that holds everything together.

The name LONG reflects that approach. Simple. Direct. Uncomplicated. The dot represents precision. An intentional mark that anchors what comes next.

I don’t design decoration. I design systems built to hold weight.

Because when structure is clear, design becomes powerful.

Meet Rachael

I’m a graphic designer who builds brands and websites that feel soft, modern, and deeply intentional. My work blends visual design, storytelling, photography direction, and emotional intuition — all shaped by years of creative experience and a love for calm, beautiful things.

I design the way I write: clearly, thoughtfully, and with meaning. I believe brands should feel like a reflection of the people behind them — warm, grounded, and unmistakably genuine.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me with my dog Bosco, collecting inspiration from light, nature, texture, and quiet moments that feel like art.

What Inspires My Work

  • Clarity

Every design choice is intentional. Nothing is random. Nothing is loud just to be loud.

  • Beauty

Soft visuals, natural textures, calm color stories — I create designs that feel beautiful without trying too hard.

  • Purpose

Design should mean something. It should guide people, tell a story, and connect emotionally.
